Quantum^BW roadshow at the Quantum Festi­val in Ulm

On October 09, 2025, our roadshow took place for the third time, and this time we were able to welcome our guests to the KICU (Artifi­cial Intel­li­gence Campus) in Ulm, Germany. The entire week in Ulm was dedicated to quantum technol­ogy, with the Univer­sity of Ulm hosting the Quantum Festi­val 2025, “Ulm makes the future tangi­ble,” to mark the Year of Quantum. Many visitors came to our roadshow to gain an insight into the world of quantum technol­ogy and the ecosys­tem in Baden-Württemberg.

To provide an intro­duc­tion to the world of quantum technol­ogy, we launched the Quantum^BW Roadshow. Together with Photon­ics BW and the kind support of the Chamber of Indus­try and Commerce locations in our host cities, we are giving small and medium-sized enter­prises an insight into the poten­tial of quantum technolo­gies. At our third stop, we received strong support from our network partner, the German Aerospace Center (DLR).

In short presen­ta­tions and pitches, our experts gave an acces­si­ble overview of the areas of appli­ca­tion that are already possi­ble today. The content was explored in greater depth with visitors at themed tables, spark­ing fruit­ful discus­sions and gener­at­ing new ideas.

At our third stop, our network partners also provided insights into quantum technol­ogy exhibits at our market of oppor­tu­ni­ties. The inter­est shown by visitors demon­strated how impor­tant exchange formats such as the Quantum Roadshow are for channel­ing the enormous poten­tial of quantum technolo­gies in Baden-Württemberg.
