Start-up Atomiq One joins QuantumBW network

QuantumBW is pleased to welcome Atomiq One to the network. The young start-up, which is a spin-off founded by three researchers Dr. Chris­t­ian Hölzl (Univer­sity of Stuttgart), Dr. Thomas Nieder­prüm (Univer­sity of Kaiser­slautern (RPTU)) und Dr. Suthep Pomjak­silp (Univer­sity of Hamburg), is dedicated to devel­op­ing open-source software.

With Atomiq One, the range of software solutions for quantum technolo­gies in Baden-Württemberg is expand­ing. The software simpli­fies the hardware-specific complex­ity, allow­ing researchers and devel­op­ers to focus more on their research and innovation.

“Quantum exper­i­ments are becom­ing increas­ingly complex to set up, operate, and maintain. We wanted to create a solution that would give research and devel­op­ment teams more time to focus on the actual science and innova­tion and less on techni­cal details,” explains Dr. Chris­t­ian Hölzl, one of the company’s three founders.

This new member­ship is yet another sign that the ecosys­tem in Baden-Württemberg contin­ues to grow and highlights, how impor­tant the software side is in quantum comput­ing.
We look forward to working together and support­ing Atomiq One in its network­ing and visibility.
