Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences joins the QuantumBW network
QuantumBW welcomes Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences (HHN) as a new network partner. With its application- and practice-oriented research in the field of quantum computing, HHN supports the development of modern quantum algorithms and at the same time makes an important contribution to the training of future specialists in quantum computing.
Quantum computing offers enormous potential for solving complex challenges in optimisation, simulation and AI – even those that have been unsolvable using conventional methods. Heilbronn University of Applied Scienes is conducting practical research into new applications and developing powerful quantum algorithms for this purpose. At the same time, it sees it as a central task to train future specialists across the entire quantum software stack, thereby strengthening the next generation of the growing quantum community in Baden-Württemberg.
By joining the QuantumBW network, HHN wants to actively contribute to the further development of quantum technologies in Baden-Württemberg. HHN particularly values the open exchange, joint projects and collaborations, as well as a joint presence at national and international events to raise awareness of the topic. In addition, QuantumBW offers an important platform for giving students access to relevant players in the regional quantum scene and involving them in this future-oriented field at an early stage.
