Quantum comput\u00ading is no longer a vision of the future \u2013 yet for many compa\u00adnies, getting started remains a signif\u00adi\u00adcant challenge. This is precisely where INQUBA\u00adTOR<\/strong>, the Fraunhofer test and consult\u00ading center for quantum comput\u00ading, comes in: Compa\u00adnies of all sizes can now apply with their use-cases as part of an open Call for Use-Cases<\/strong>. The appli\u00adca\u00adtion deadline is 31 August 2026<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>[\/module_free_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][module_free_text spacebefore=\u201cspacebefore-none\u201d spaceafter=\u201cspaceafter\u2011m\u201d indentbefore=\u201cindentbefore-xs\u201d indentafter=\u201cindentafter-xs\u201d bgcolor=\u201d\u201d moduleeffect=\u201ceffect-media\u201d]

The project specif\u00adi\u00adcally strength\u00adens the local quantum comput\u00ading ecosys\u00adtem by making the technol\u00adogy acces\u00adsi\u00adble with low barri\u00aders to entry. No prior knowl\u00adedge or quantum hardware is required: the partic\u00adi\u00adpat\u00ading Fraunhofer insti\u00adtutes IAF, IAO, IPA and ITWM support compa\u00adnies from the initial idea through to concrete exploita\u00adtion perspec\u00adtives \u2013 on state-of-the-art quantum comput\u00aders from inter\u00adna\u00adtional manufacturers.<\/span><\/p>

At least four selected use-cases will be devel\u00adoped collab\u00ado\u00adra\u00adtively over a period of approx\u00adi\u00admately ten months. An individ\u00adual exploita\u00adtion plan will be drawn up for each appli\u00adca\u00adtion \u2013 with the goal of testing quantum algorithms where they can have real economic impact.<\/span><\/p>

INQUBA\u00adTOR is there\u00adfore a key build\u00ading block for scaling the quantum comput\u00ading ecosys\u00adtem in the region: it connects indus\u00adtry and cutting-edge research, creates practi\u00adcal experi\u00adence, and enables compa\u00adnies to prepare for the quantum era at an early stage.<\/span><\/p>
