The aim of this program line is to bring the most promis\u00ading proto\u00adtypes from labora\u00adtory and research environ\u00adments to the most relevant markets.<\/span><\/p>\n

Who gets funded:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Eligi\u00adble appli\u00adcants are acade\u00admic research insti\u00adtu\u00adtions based in Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg that receive insti\u00adtu\u00adtional funding from the state or the federal govern\u00adment and the federal states, i.e., univer\u00adsi\u00adties, univer\u00adsi\u00adties of applied sciences, or non-university research insti\u00adtu\u00adtions. Compa\u00adnies based or with a branch in Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg can partic\u00adi\u00adpate as project partners at their own expense, but will not receive direct funding for their project-related expenses.<\/span><\/p>\n

Depend\u00ading on the appli\u00adcant insti\u00adtu\u00adtion, funding is provided separately by the ministries: The Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts is respon\u00adsi\u00adble for funding univer\u00adsi\u00adties, univer\u00adsi\u00adties of applied sciences, the Max Planck Society (MPG), and the Helmholtz Associ\u00ada\u00adtion, while the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labor, and Tourism funds projects of the Fraunhofer Society, the German Aerospace Center (DLR), and the non-university research insti\u00adtutes of the Innova\u00adtion Alliance Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg e. V. (innBW).<\/span><\/p>\n

Projects from all quantum technolo\u00adgies that aim at market-oriented imple\u00admen\u00adta\u00adtion of appli\u00adca\u00adtions are eligi\u00adble for funding. Due to the appli\u00adca\u00adtion orien\u00adta\u00adtion and special pioneer\u00ading role of Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg, project propos\u00adals from the field of quantum sensor technol\u00adogy and metrol\u00adogy are partic\u00adu\u00adlarly welcome, but projects from areas such as position\u00ading, naviga\u00adtion, and timing (PNT) may also be submit\u00adted. Project propos\u00adals from the field of quantum comput\u00ading are not the focus of this call for proposals.<\/span><\/p>\n

How is it funded:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Funding is avail\u00adable for science-driven research and devel\u00adop\u00adment projects. Funding is provided in the form of project funding as a non-repayable grant. A total of \u20ac3 million in state funding is avail\u00adable for Trans\u00adfer Booster projects. Individ\u00adual Trans\u00adfer Booster projects can receive a total of up to \u20ac500,000 in funding for a period of up to 12 months.<\/strong> Funding is sched\u00aduled to begin (project start) on Novem\u00adber 15, 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
