However, quantum mechan\u00adics should also enable tap-proof commu\u00adni\u00adca\u00adtion and highly sensi\u00adtive sensors in the future. He presented research projects at the Ulm site and their integra\u00adtion into QuantumBW and discussed current challenges with the Science Minis\u00adter. He also presented various activ\u00adi\u00adties aimed at publi\u00adcis\u00ading the research field of quantum science \u2014 from school labs to science slams. \u201cWe are delighted to be able to present to the Minis\u00adter the exten\u00adsive activ\u00adi\u00adties in the quantum field on the campus, which are an integral part of the new Innova\u00adtion Campus. The gener\u00adous and long-term funding provided by the state is crucial for this still young technol\u00adogy with high innova\u00adtion poten\u00adtial,\u201d says Profes\u00adsor Ankerhold.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"font-size-s\">Science Minis\u00adter Petra Olschowski was impressed by the research activ\u00adi\u00adties of the scien\u00adtists in the field of quantum physics phenom\u00adena. \u201cAs a found\u00ading member of the state initia\u00adtive Quantum<sup>BW<\/sup>, Ulm Univer\u00adsity is driving quantum technol\u00adogy forward \u2014 from basic research to appli\u00adca\u00adtion areas such as quantum comput\u00ading, medical imaging and sensor technol\u00adogy. In this way, the inter\u00addis\u00adci\u00adpli\u00adnary researchers are strength\u00aden\u00ading Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg\u2019s outstand\u00ading position in this field of innova\u00adtion. Between theory and practice, optimal condi\u00adtions are also being created for the promo\u00adtion of young talent: the new Ulm Master\u2019s degree programme \u2018Quantum Engineer\u00ading\u2019 is train\u00ading the sought-after special\u00adists and managers of tomor\u00adrow \u2014 for science, indus\u00adtry and the innov\u00ada\u00adtive strength of the state. At the Ministry of Science, we are eagerly follow\u00ading the second quantum revolu\u00adtion, to which Quantum<sup>BW<\/sup> can make a signif\u00adi\u00adcant contri\u00adbu\u00adtion. The ZQB (Manag\u00ading Direc\u00adtor Profes\u00adsor Martin Plenio) serves as the central infra\u00adstruc\u00adture in Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg for under\u00adstand\u00ading quantum effects in highly complex systems and devel\u00adop\u00ading new forms of sensor and imaging technology.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"font-size-s\">The Science Minis\u00adter then exchanged ideas with three physics students from bache\u00adlor\u2019s to doctoral level and promoted study\u00ading STEM subjects. The train\u00ading and further educa\u00adtion of young scien\u00adtists and special\u00adists for science and indus\u00adtry is one of Quantum<sup>BW<\/sup>\u2019s key areas of
