The prize was awarded at the first edition of the Quantum Effects trade fair in Stuttgart on October 10.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph\">NVision Imaging provides solutions for metabolic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) using quantum physics. For example, the company has devel\u00adoped a hyper\u00adpo\u00adlar\u00adiza\u00adtion technol\u00adogy for preclin\u00adi\u00adcal and clini\u00adcal research and clini\u00adcal appli\u00adca\u00adtions. This method detects early changes of key metabolic pathways at cellu\u00adlar level, making it possi\u00adble to, e.g., assess tumor\u00adous activ\u00adity and viabil\u00adity based on metabolism.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph\">The Quantum Effects Award honors innova\u00adtions which connect the classi\u00adcal with the quantum world, are used in differ\u00adent indus\u00adtries, enable new services, and open up new perspec\u00adtives.
